Asian Americans have continued to experience targeted violence that has increased at an alarming rate since the start of COVID, and, as another Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month quietly passed, I found myself greatly saddened. We matter. Our voices, our perspectives, our stories, and yet our experience continues to be seen as insignificant. I have continued to try to express and speak out through my work, and I hope that it invokes something for you, as well.
